If you have ever wanted to get involved in your local

experiences, we have great opportunities for you.
MSL is seeking volunteers to assist in the following

If you have previous acting experience or would like to try it for the first time, there are many opportunities for you to get involved in one of our upcoming productions.
Experience is great, but our talented group of directors are willing to provide training. Please navigate to the AUDITION page to let us know you are interested in being an on-stage presence.
If you prefer to work behind the scenes, there are many positions in which you can apply your talents and learn the “tricks of the trade”. Production positions available include:
Director – conducts auditions, rehearsals, and production execution.
Stage Manager – keeps all parts of the company working together.
Sound Technician – programs and operates sound system.
Lighting Technician – programs and operates lighting.
(The above 4 positions are paid)
Set Construction – designs, builds and paints sets.
Costume Designer/Tailor – identifies / constructs costuming as needed.
Backstage Crew – performs scene changes, manages
props, make-up, hairstyling.

Volunteers for the “front of house” roles are extremely
important: they are the welcoming faces of Main Street
LIVE as patrons arrive; they enable our audience members to experience plays and events in a safe and comfortable space; they are valuable extensions of the
“Front of house” refers to the entrance and lobby, the gathering area, bar & snack bar, and the seating surrounding the stage. Some of the specific roles at Main Street LIVE are:
House Manager - oversees the “front of house” activities other than the play/event itself and may assist other volunteers as needed.
Usher - directs patrons to the seating area, assists with any special needs, and distributes programs.
Snack bar attendant - sells refreshments.
Bartender - currently serves beer & wine.
Ticket Sales - greet those who enter to purchase their tickets and handle the transaction.
