Main Street LIVE is always looking for individuals with or without prior acting experience to expand our group of actors. We keep a mailing list of all potential actors who are notified when auditions for upcoming productions are scheduled. Come join our team and get an opportunity to perform on our stage.

Annie
Director Virginia Jimenez and Music Director Vinnie Gumlich will be holding auditions for the musical "Annie" at the Workroom in the Space to Create Commons & at the following dates/times:
Sunday, June 8th @ 2-6pm,
Monday, June 9th @ 4-7pm and
Tuesday, June 10th @ 4-7pm.
Those auditioning will need to sign up for a time slot (click here), prepare a short song to sing (16-32 bars of music), and be prepared to read lines from the show. .
CAST DESCRIPTIONS:
Annie: Female, 10-13, A3-F5. A tough, streetwise orphan girl who holds onto hope that she'll find her parents one day.
Orphans: Female, 6-13. The other girls in the orphanage with Annie. These girls are gritty, neglected and vulnerable, yet basically honest and potentially loveable. Includes Molly, Kate, Tessie, Pepper, July, and Duffy.
Oliver Warbucks: Male, late 30s-mid 50s, B3-Gb5 (Baritone). A successful businessman with a warm heart. Rich, stiff-collared, bullish.
Miss Hannigan: Female, 30s-40s, A3-F5, (Alto/Mezzo). The orphanage matron who hates children but is fond of liquor. Very disillusioned, bitter, and cold.
Grace Farrell: Female, 20s-mid 30s, Bb3-G5 (Soprano). Faithful secretary to Mr. Oliver Warbucks. Poised, sweet, gentle.
Rooster Hannigan: Male, 20s-30s, B3-G5 (Tenor). Miss Hannigan's no-good brother looking for a quick buck. A sleazy, slick con man.
Lily St. Regis: Female, 20s-30s, B3-G5. Rooster's girlfriend, who is also out for a quick buck. She is considered to be a floozy and bimbo.
Bert Healy: Male, 30s-50s, E4-G5. The ultimate radio personality. He helps Annie by broadcasting about the search for her birth parents.
Roosevelt: Male, 40s-60s, Eb3-F4.he 32nd President of the United States. A Democrat and friend of Warbucks.
Ensemble/Servants: Any Gender, teens - 50s. The servants at the Warbucks mansion (Drake, Mrs. Pugh, Mrs. Greer, Cecille, and Annette), Boylan Sisters, Cabinet Members, Hooverville Citizens
PLAY DESCRIPTION:
Based on Little Orphan Annie, the popular comic strip by Harold Gray, Annie has become a worldwide sensation. Winner of seven Tony Awards, including Best Musical, the beloved show features a wonderful score written by Charles Strouse and Martin Charnin, including the Broadway smash hit “Tomorrow”.
With a perfect combination of street-smarts and optimism, Annie warms the hearts of the audience as we witness her rise from next to nothing in New York City. She is determined to find her parents, who left her at the orphanage years ago. Though things don’t quite work out the way she has planned, she does manage to thwart the plans of the evil Miss Hannigan and find a new family with billionaire Oliver Warbucks, his secretary Grace Farrell, and her lovable pooch, Sandy.
