As the curtain rises, Alice slides into view at the end of her long fall down the rabbit-hole. It is a more delightful place for the audience than for Alice, who is trying desperately to get back home. She seeks help from the characters she meets, but they are not exactly helpful - Mad Hatter throws a tea party, Tweedledee and Tweedledum get into a fight, the Rabbit is constantly running away from her, and the Cheshire Cat is just plain enigmatic. Poor Alice decides to ask for help from the Red Queen, which seems risky given her temper. The delightful charm of Lewis Carroll's classic is sure to be enjoyed by all. by Anne Coulter Martens Fantasy. Appropriate for all ages.

In this adaptation of the Charles Dickens classic, a traveling troupe of commedia dell'arte players re-create the Victorian world of "A Christmas Carol.' All the characters are portrayed by 8 players with cleverness, skill, and comedy. Dickens used many theatrical characters in his novels, the most notable of these is Ebenezer Scrooge, who is played in this adaptation by commedia's cranky but beloved Pantalone. Sometimes frenzied, but always fun, this dynamic adaptation puts a fresh spin on one of our most beloved holiday stories. by Lane Riosley Comedy Appropriate for ages 12+
